Xenosaga Freaks released in Japan (April 28, 2004) Includes a demo for Xenosaga: Episode II amongst a plethora of shenanigans. Xenosaga Freaks is a side game in the Xenosaga universe, intended for fans of Xenosaga. It contains two different games, a glossary of terms used in Xenosaga: Episode I, and a playable demo of Xenosaga: Episode II - Jenseits von Gut und Böse. The first game is XenoComi, a humorous adventure game set during the same timeframe as Episode I. It follows several series characters as they try to stop the out-of-control "neko mode" KOS-MOS and discover why she's been acting up. The other game is called Kotoba no Puzzle: Xenopittan, a word-based puzzle game with a Xenosaga theme. Xenosaga Freaks was part of a movement with the Xenosaga series to turn it into a multimedia franchise, with the project growing substantially larger than previously planned.
